June 2025 Board Meeting Notes
In attendance: Board members -Barb Hickey, Christine Fueller, Lisa Davidson, Rachael Rennebeck, Bev Cwalina and Jenn Hisdorf. Thriver members: Katie Dudas, Jamie Ross
Meeting started at 7:35 pm
Approval of minutes- motion made by Lisa and second by Rachael, minutes for May approved
Agenda:
Katie update:
Working with Viki Mahler (Thriver) to develop a curated list of questions for people with genetic mutations, etc. to complete to find out if they would like a buddy to go to an appointment with them, questions to advocate for themselves, ask if they want anyone to follow up with them, etc.
We now have over 900 members in the database and 755 members on Facebook
Fundraiser update: Highmark walk for a healthy community on 6-14, and Inner Strength personal training is an event held on June 7 where attendees donate what they can, they work out together and all proceeds go to 412Thrive.
Jamie survey sent out to Thrivers regarding the retreat, 50 surveys returned. Shared with the board a possible fundraiser to help pay for retreat. Suggestion made to add Thursday to the retreat to extend the retreat weekend and add more programming and events. Looking at an option to add the additional day funded through fundraising so there is no risk to the 412Thrive budget.

Grants:
Received $5k for Snee to be used for care packages
Submitted application for grant from AE—should know soon
Carolyn on vacation—more options in June
Fundraisers:
TaTa event will be postponed until sometime in October
Strut the Streets for a Cure: City Girls who Walk need a speaker for June 8
Pop Up at Ginchy Stuff parking lot with Jenny Lee flavors to pre-purchase swirl bread and cash and carry for retreat
