April’s Volunteer of the Month Cara nash snyder

Our Volunteer for the Month of April is Cara Nash Snyder

Cara is a founding member of 412Thrive and served on the board for four years. Not only is she a positive light when it comes to our organization, she also invests a lot of time looking for ways to raise money or find goods for the group. Whether it’s through our GotSneakers drive, reaching out to companies for donations or helping to coordinate care package drives, Cara is a vital part of 412Thrive!

For the 2025 Pittsburgh Marathon coming up this weekend, Cara collaborated with Temple Emanuel to raise funds for 412Thrive through their kids of Steel Pittsburgh Marathon running team via donations and t-shirts sales. She even involved her children in running on behalf of 412Thrive! If you’re interested in a t-shirt, please visit this website.

Fundraising hasn’t been Cara’s only superpower; She has also helped set up Meal Trains for Metastatic Thrivers, helping to mentor those with brain metastasis.

“I’m always spreading the word about 412Thrive and our mission. All those affected by breast cancer need a solid community and 412Thrive has created a beautiful, supportive one”

Thank you for all that you do Cara for 412Thrive! You’re the tits!
