July’s Volunteer of the Month Christine Fueller

Our Volunteer for the Month of July is Christine Fueller!  

We’re lucky that Christine found 412Thrive through a friend. “A dear friend introduced me to 412Thrive late last year, seeing in me the potential to make a meaningful impact. She recognized my kind heart, my desire to help others, and my background in healthcare as qualities that aligned perfectly with the mission of the organization. When she approached me about getting involved, I was genuinely touched that she thought of me—and without hesitation, I agreed to come on board.” 

“In just a short time, 412Thrive has become incredibly important to me, not only because of the powerful stories and experiences that have been shared, but most importantly because of the amazing and strong thrivers I’ve had the privilege to meet. This opportunity and experience has become something deeply special to me—and the meaningful relationships that have formed along the way are ones I’ll always hold close.”

Christine puts in a lot of hard work when it comes to 412Thrive, including our Care Packages. “I was honored to be asked to lead the mission and service of offering Care Packages to our members—those going through chemotherapy, radiation, hysterectomies, or mastectomies. Each care package is thoughtfully designed to provide basic essentials, along with a few comforting and practical items tailored to each specific treatment. Collaborating closely with the board and receiving direct feedback from these incredible Thrivers allows us to continually improve what we offer. More than just products, these packages aim to lift a small burden and remind members that they’re supported and not alone during such a challenging time. In just the first half of the year, the appreciation and gratitude I’ve received through text messages and emails has filled my heart and fueled my motivation even more.”
